• Support and supervise operators
• Create optimized stuff schedules of the worforce needed
• Setting up injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment
• Ensure that mold changes are done correctly and in a timly manner
• Verify that the correct material is used for each job running
• Make sure quality parts are produced
• Adjust molding parameters on injection molding machines to assure continious and quality production
• Review molded parts for part quality issues and arrange necessary adjustments / repairs to assure quality parts
• Must respond to issues as they arise, but also identify areas in which to assure better performance on productivity including preventive maintainance and process documentation
• Organize production changeovers
• Assure work areas are clean and organized

• Experience in supervising operators and assuring better performance on productivity and quality required
• Completed vocational training as industrial processing mechanic for plastics technology
• Task related technical knowledge (injection molding, machine technology, industrial processing and peripheral equipment)
• High school diploma or G.E.D., technical certification preferred
• 3-5 years experience with processes preferred
